No doubt you’re aware that steps to mitigate and contain the spread of COVID-19 are affecting the daily operations of many companies and organizations.
We know that our operations affect your own, so we want to share information about 040Hosting's business continuity.
Rest assured, we are having our team work remotely, and this will not impact 040Hosting's daily operations or performance, service and support upon which you rely. As a fully-automated platform, all daily and emergency 040Hosting operations can be (and regularly are) executed and managed remotely.
Likewise, our Customer Support, Network Operations Center, Billing Support, and Sales teams are equipped, trained, and able to provide exactly the same services and responsiveness, 24x7, whether working remotely or at our office. We actively test these capabilities as part of our standard business operation on a regular basis.
Like many other companies we have suspended all employee travel—international and domestic—and canceled hosting, exhibiting, attending or otherwise participating at any events. Our team members will continue to conduct internal and external meetings via video and telephone conference or where needed use remote tools to assist clients as if we were sitting next to them.
We know that, no matter how prepared we are, the situation can change rapidly. We are vigilant and ready to adapt, committed to providing you highest quality service without disruption.
Thanks for your continuing trust and confidence. We hope you and your loved ones are healthy and well.
15-03-2020 18:00 The Netherlands is in lock down; which means all our dutch employees are working from home. Please understand if answering tickets may take longer as usual as we cope with the virus and the lock down. We strive to provide our customers with the best service possible during these times but ask for understanding if something may happen out of our control. i.e. our datacenter in Strasbourg in France has many German employees working in the datacenter which is located on the border, which means it may take these employees longer (if at all possible) to actually reach the datacenter due to border control or closures.
18-08-2020 19:30 The Netherlands asks everyone to work from home also after 01-09-2020 which was previously mentioned as a date where restrictions could have been lifted, this is however, due to many new infections, not possible. We will let our employees work from home till further notice.
30-10-2020 13:10 It gets harder and harder to provide decent services across Europe due to a second wave of Covid19 please accept our apologies if things take longer as you may expect from us. For work which can be done remotely this is in most cases not an issue, but work which needs to be done on site this is much harder with the different lockdown rules in different countries.
21-01-2021 15:00 Lockdowns are still in place in the Netherlands and intensifying. Several countries have implemented curfews and also the Netherlands is trying to implement one, we try keeping our best to provide our services as best as possible, but delays due to additional street/border checks will be possible when engineers need to drive to the datacenters in the middle of the night.
18-12-2021 17:00 The Netherlands goes back in full lockdown due to omicron covid-19 infections and the very late booster action of the government of the Netherlands. While in other countries everyone can get boosters in the Netherlands this is NOT the case yet as the government does not dare to take actions for their citizens.
Just like many of our clients we feel the economic impact, please be safe and healthy which is what counts most now.
