We want to alert all our customers about a malicious phishing email that is currently circulating and appears to come from 040Hosting. This email is not from us and is designed to trick you into clicking on a fraudulent link.

The message may look similar to this:
Subject: Mailbox Deactivation Request
From: (spoofed or fake email pretending to be from 040Hosting)
Body:
Dear: clientname,
We have successfully received your request to deactivate your mailbox account on 07/10/2025.
Kindly ignore this email if this request was made by you and your mailbox account will be permanently deactivated within the next 48hrs.
Show content and Cancel Now, If you did not submit this request.
⚠️ Do NOT click on the “Cancel Now” or any other links in the email.
