If you want to order an extra domain and add it to your existing account you can follow the checklist to get everything setup faster, of course you can leave it up to 040 hosting to set it up for you, but adding additional accounts through the checklist gives you some benefits like the ability to setup the website before the domain is registered and creating email accounts in advance.
Checklist:
- Check if your account does give you the possibility of extra add-on domains, you can find this in the left-hand column in your cpanel. You should at least have 1 add-on, 1 ftp and 1 subdomain left in order to add an extra domain to your account.
- Check if your domain is free, you can use the order button or the client area 'check domain' function.
- When in your Cpanel go to "Site Management Tools" and click Addon Domains
- Fill in the fields requested
- New Domain name (don't type www. in front of it)
- UserName/SubDomain Name will be automatically filled, do not change this unless you know what you are doing
- Add a password for this account.
- Click Add, now this will take some time as we are going to add your new domain to our nameservers, please be patient as this can take some time, when finished it will let you know everything is setup and shows your login details.
Now you will be able to create email accounts for your new domain, as well as placing your content online trough the subdomain just created. This is also the best time to request your domain in our order system, so we can register the domain for you.

Name Servers:
During signup of a domain you will be asked for domain servers, this depends on the server you are located.
You will find your nameservers in your welcome email, please note that these may be different from account to account if they are setup on other servers and/or locations.
