If in cPanel you enable the Spam Box under the Spamassasin tab, you may have a hard time finding your folder back in your webmail applicaitons or your mail application if you didnt receive any spam yet. The folder is created when an external spam mail is received on the servre for the first time.
In Roundcube and Horde this folder is automatically added, in Squirelmail you will need to subscribe to the folder, with your mail application it is well possible you also need to subscribe to the folder. The problem here is this folder will not show up untill there has been received spam.
How to force the spam folder to be created?
well this is easy, the answer is GTUBE, this Generic Test for Unsolicited Bulk Email, will provide you with a string which will be recoginized by many spam filters, you can find it on the GTUBE page here; http://spamassassin.apache.org/gtube/
