If you get the error: ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS its often an issue within the .htaccess file
If you get this error around 17/07/2023 on your wordpress site its possible you use the "Really Simple Security" plugin; we have fixed several websites already on this day which used this plugin and came in a redirect loop.
removing the plugin from wordpress and removing the data from this plugin in the .htaccess will fix the issue.
Note that using additional security plugins in wordpress like wordfence and this particular plugin is not really needed on our platform which is by default protected by Imunify360 which does the same thing, but on a server level, using a plugin in wordpress may only cause incompatibility issues with new wordpress versions and slowdowns due to the plugin nature of wordpress. All while Imunify360 is already doing the work for you.
